Service Description

This tour is recommended for first-timers coming to Acre (aka Akko). It covers the crusader (underground) sites, today's (overground) city and some off-the-beaten-path gems! This tour offers a general overview of the different historical, cultural and social aspects of the city! This tour covers the following: - The city gate - The walls - Al-Jazzar Mosque (from outside) - Bustan al-Pasha - Knights' Halls - Turkish Bazaar - The Jewish Neighborhood - Ramhal Synagogue (from outside) - Khan al-Ifranj / Arabesque Arts Residency & Hotel - The Artists' Alley - Templar Tunnel - Lighthouse Neighborhood - The Alley of the Sisters of Nazareth (Kashash Alley) - Abboud Square neighborhood Entrance fees (not included in the tour price): - Knights' Halls & Templar Tunnel: 49 ILS per person (combined ticket) Tour price: This tour costs 800 ILS for a group of up to 15 participants. An additional fee applies for larger groups COVID-19 Precautions: According to current guidelines, we will be required to maintain social distancing & wear a face mask (covering both, mouth & nose) while visiting closed spaces! Notes: - The tour is approximately 4 hours long - Sites are wheelchair accessible - The underground sites are spacious. In case of severe claustrophobia, let me know & we'll avoid the very few narrow spaces
